Here is an interesting story. My friend Julie turned the big "2-9" on January 9th, which turned out to be a Friday. A group of us went out for drinks and a bite to eat at Schmitty's to celebrate. Julie brought her flowers from Jeff inside since it was so cold out. We were planning on treating Julie to food and drinks but.........we FORGOT! Can you believe it. What a bunch of tools!
Hanging out with Oppy is always an entertaining treat!
In order to make up for our blunder, Zank and I told Julie we wanted to treat her to drinks and a meal, so a bunch of us went out to the Main Exchange the following week for dinner. After leaving, Zank and I simultaneously looked at each other and said, "We forgot to pay for dinner." Our actions were pathetic!!!!! We did manage to salvage the night by hanging out with Julie for a few hours. It was quite fun.

In order to make up for the fact we neglected to pay for Julie's birthday meal TWO times in a row, we had Julie pick between the Melting Pot and Nakashima's. We told her it would be our treat.....as if she hadn't heard that before!!!!!!! We ended up going to Nakashima's and had a great time. Below are some of the highlights.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZIGS! I LOVE YOU, BUDDY!!!!!!!!!!

The flaming onion

Julie's birthday cake.....we were not leaving without it.
We only had a little sliver of it....we were full!
Julie's bringing some to school for Dale tomorrow.
If only he knew.....
We seemed to be in the bathroom for quite some time

Carpet Land?
I'm not sure what this means
We jammed out to a little Sinead O'Conner....
I haven't laughed this much in a long time!!!!!! I'm hoping that if we go out for Julie's birthday again next week we have this much fun!!!!! What a night!

By the way....what is said in Nakashima's stays in Nakashima's!!!!!!!!!!!!

All right, it has been a while! Things have been pretty busy for me lately. Since my last post I have been going to classes at the Y with Keri, working respite hours with Kayla, doing projects around the house with Troy, and trying to get things checked off of my massive to-do list. I have also had two school closing days which are always a bonus!

Tomorrow marks the last day of 1st semester......half way through the school year! We have a teacher work day that will hopefully allow me to get a crap-ton of work done. I'm lucky because I have so many good friends at FHS, however, that can at times be a distraction!

I'm pretty excited because next Friday I am going to Milwaukee to see Scott Weiland on his solo tour. Andy is my date. I'm not sure if Tony will be going or not. I know he likes the challenge of buying tickets from scalpers for cheap. If you every want to hear some entertaining stories regarding this, just ask me. You'll be glad you did.

I'm going to post some pictures from when we saw Weiland at the STP concert this summer. It was a great show! It always helps being in the front row though!

I know people have joked that I look like some sort of psycho fan here, but take note of Andy's hand. That is some creepy shite. He held Weiland's arm for a good 2 to 3 minutes. After our front row serenade. Tony is behind the camera.
It was an awesome night. It's always fun to go to a concert with these two as many of you may already know.

After a restless night of trying to sleep while Bagwell rustled around in his hutch and drank from his noisy water bottle, Tom and Amanda were able to muster up enough energy to join us for champaigne brunch at Cibo's.
We had a lot of laughs and a little champaigne
This is maybe the third time we have gone here together
Afterwards, Tom and Amanda headed to Oshkosh to visit with Amanda's Aunt and Uncle. I didn't do too much except seriously think about how I should go to school to get work done. Instead I watched a movie.

The second annual Lemense/McNamara Cousins Christmas party was held at Sarah and Jesse's house this year. THANKS SARAH AND JESSE! We had a lot of fun!

Cousin Kara and Andy
Troy and Gompy
Cousin Jen, her fiance Keith, Clarissa, and Tony. We were all making fun of Tony because in most pictures he is eating, as seen below.
Jesse, cousin Sarah's husband, does not like to be called Uncle Jesse. I don't know why because who doesn't love Uncle Jesse from full house?

Zissou....man's best friend. Isn't he cute?!!!!!

I love door chains. They help to keep out the riffraff.

Tom and Troy?
Apples to Apples
The crappy group picture that Andy timed on my camera. Jesse is missing and I don't need to tell you the picture didn't turn out. No wonder why Andrew doesn't have a blog anymore. j/k!

Troy and Jesse
At the time I took this picture Amanda and Jesse were entertaining us with discussions about cable. It was pretty funny!
Gompy hates it when Cable customers complain to the service reps but then explain that they know it's not her fault.
The twins
Amanda, Clarissa, and Tom
A little taste of a great family

Tom and Amanda decided to spend the night at our house because the roads were so icy. Amanda made an eggnog drink. She obviously likes nutmeg. This picture does not do justice to how much nutmeg was actually piled on top of this holiday beverage.

Troy claims he has never played Jenga before.
The return of "cheesus"
The loser of the first game had to stack the tower and cut the summer sausage. Tom tried his best to cut thin slices to no avail.
Nothing but the best for our guests!
