It was an interesting Sunday to say the least. I woke up around 10, which is pretty late for me. (Troy and I were up until about 4:30, though, so I guess that's not so bad) I picked up Anderson and we headed to Robyn's Tastefully Simple Party. It was a lot of fun, and the food sampling was delicious. After the party, Anderson was a good sport and joined Troy and I for some QT time.

At the Greek fest--Katie and Troy proudly showed off their money tickets which were going to be used to purchase some Greek food. (Too bad all of the Gyros and sampler platters were gone. All there was to eat were hamburgers and Coney Island hot dogs) Following the leadership of a retired Guidance Counselor we exchanged our money tickets for real money and got the heck out of there.
Disgusted, and with lamb meat on Troy's mind, we headed over to Mancino's. Troy had a gyro and Anderson and I had salads.
Some how UFOs became a topic of conversation during dinner. We decided to head out towards Byron to check out an area where a UFO was spotted by a married couple in 1978.

Byron has a lot to offer as you can see
Our tame little bunny friends were waiting for us when we got home
ATTENTION ANDERSON: THANKS FOR STILL LOVING US DESPITE OUR CRAZINESS!

The last few days

My Hoya plant is thriving
Bailey sampled some wedding cakes to assist Tom and Amanda in their planning. She took this job very seriously as you can see.
We celebrate Bailey's birthday with some ice cream cake. I also reminded Bailey that in 3 years, on her 16th birthday, she will find the Oldsmobile in her driveway with a bow on it. I'm sure she's counting down the days!
This was neat to see in Mom and Dad's back yard. All Troy and I see in our backyard are the three rabbits that have taken up residence, mostly due to our feeding them daily. (They sun themselves and we can walk within feet of them before they run away)
Troy is onto bigger and better things!!!!!
During the last song in "High School Musical" Kayla started to show off her moves. Troy joined in. I took about 100 pictures and was laughing uncontrollably. Here are only 2 of the shots (they were dancing in sync most of the time)

Mom and I tackled the pea gravel that covers about 2/3 of our property. We have a ways to go yet, but it will be worth it in the end. If anyone wants to help, let me know----especially if you have a pick up truck!

Poor Troy. He's been such a busy beaver these days!
Probably not as busy as Clarissa and Tony, though!
I hope you both are enjoying your vacation! Can't wait to see you upon your return. I also can't wait to get this dumpy car out of my drive way! Just kidding, kind of!

HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY, BAILEY!

December 2007--Year of the Great Snowball fight
You lucked out Bailey. My scanner is not working right now, otherwise I would have had some other pictures to put up. (After all, I've known you for 13 years, so I have plenty!) Have a great birthday! I love you!

Today I attended my Cousin Katie's baby shower. She is due at the end of July. It was a very nice gathering. Congratulations again, Katie!
Shelly and Shannon enjoy watching Katie open her new sock monkey!
At one point during the day, Aunt Lola decided to set Aunt Ann straight on something. My Aunt Mary knows how to put together a great party. Her hostess skills are amazing! You can see her in action as she passes out candy to the guests.
Zank lurks in the background. Creepy!
Grandma Mac and Olivia spend some QT together.
Olivia requested a "crazy" picture be taken. Amanda obviously chose to just look beautiful!
My cousin Shannon handed over Brady with little warning.
Amanda, Shannon, and Grandma are wondering how much sugar Olivia consumed.

Olivia takes a few minutes to talk to Andy on the phone.
I can't help but put a lot of pictures of my favorite 6 year old on my blog. I don't see her nearly as much as I'd like to. When Amanda and I asked her if we will get to see her in the summer, instead of answering yes or no, Olivia asked us if we can drive. When we told her yes, she said we can drive her to a water park if it is ok with her mom!

CONGRATULATIONS SCOTT AND KATIE!

Yesterday (June 21st) Julie, Troy, and I made the 2 hour trek to Barneveld for Scott and Katie's wedding. We all had an awesome time. By the way I feel this morning as I throw this blog post together, I am thinking I may have had too much fun last night.

This picture was taken right after the outdoor ceremony where we had some stellar seats. We also were able to catch a little sun, which is always nice.
Troy and Muffin caught up with each other briefly
Our table--the food was awesome!

Below are some pictures of the wedding scene. Everything was beautiful. Scott and Katie, I am sorry if I am exploiting your wedding day!

Julie talked napkins and knives with me, after she wrote a special message to Scott.
Julie, thanks for taking care of me and watching my back!
Sara D. and Julie Z. were proud of this and several other pyramids they erected during dinner.
Troy talked to some guy who looked like Paul McCartney.

My vision may have been a little off when taking this picture

Andy crouched down about four feet for this picture. Andy and Katie do have similar complexions.
With Mr. Mosher. We love this guy!

The long ride home was the worst because it felt like it took forever! Zigs did a nice job of getting us home safely around 2:15. (I was able to sleep until 9:00 this morning. Poor Julie had to get up at 4:00...ouch. Have fun on your vacation, Julie!)
